My first official post!!!!

After all those posts on giveaways, this is my first real post!

For my manicure this week, I used Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment Base & Top Coat to start off. I painted one hand at a time, so I used Recycle from China Glaze to paint all my fingers on my left hand except my ring finger, on which I used First Mate, also from China Glaze.
Then, I used Flip Flop Fantasy from China Glaze and Mint Candy Apply to draw flowers along the tip of my nail, so it's kind of like a french tip, but not really.

I was going to just put the flowers on my ring finger, but I decided to draw them on all my fingers, and it looks like there is too much going on. I don't really like it.

Then while waiting for my left hand to dry, I painted my right hand. I reversed the colors and used First Mate for four fingers and Recycle for my pointer finger. I kept this hand simple. I don't have nail art brushes, but I do have a Silver Nail Art Pen and Brush from love & beauty (Forever 21 brand?). I took the brush and dipped it into Flip Flop Fantasy and brushed 3 strokes onto my pointer finger. I "cleaned" the brush by swiping it on a postcard until there was no more pink color, then I dipped it into Mint Candy Apple and also brushed 3 strokes onto the same finger. I cleaned it again and dipped it into its original color, added 3 strokes and I was done!

The final step was to apply the top coat after everything was dry.
I didn't take a picture of my full manicure, but I will next time! :)
